Pradeep Rangana Abeysinghe was born on 12th November, 1983 in Nivithigala. After attending Ferguson High School (Rathnapura) and St. Thomas's College (Bandarwela), he got selected to the Faculty of Medicine, Karapitiya.
In 2007, he attended Sirasa Super Star copetition and won the crown.
